WesleyLife: A Partner in Your Health and Safety

Because we care...

WesleyLife takes vaccine recommendations seriously.

We are proud that as an organization, we are 100% COVID-vaccine compliant.

We also offer and recommend vaccinations for influenza and other infectious diseases.

When you live, work, or do business with WesleyLife, you can rest assured we are adhering to recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to help ensure your health and safety.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services asks that we continue to monitor our COVID counts. You may click here for daily updates from specific communities.

Because we believe in the safety and efficacy of approved vaccines against infectious diseases and take to heart our responsibility to do all the good we can for all the people we can, we require WesleyLife team members to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and we recommend yearly vaccines to protect against influenza and other conditions, such as pneumonia and shingles.

Of course, we defer to each person's medical provider to help determine the vaccines that are appropriate for that individual.

Our Four Pillars

The foundations on which WesleyLife was built helped shape the reasons behind our decision to require and/or recommend approved vaccines.

Well-Being: Committing to the health, safety, and holistic well-being of those we serve is a fundamental part of who we are.

Excellence: From leading the way in infection mitigation to being among the first providers to make the vaccine available, we remain committed to the health of our residents, clients, and team.

Heritage: We have always taken to heart John Wesley’s advice to “do all the good (we) can,” and we have a history of doing the right thing for the greatest number of people.

Innovation: Relying on science to help us implement best practices around COVID transparency, we established lines of communication to help disseminate current and reliable information that assists people in making informed decisions.

What You Can Do To Help

Due to increased need for meal delivery among members of the Greater Des Moines community, we continue to seek additional volunteer drivers for WesleyLife Meals on Wheels. Meals on Wheels volunteers are making a real difference in our community, where 10,000+ individuals are unable to access or prepare affordable, nutritious meals. Help us combat food insecurity!
